Design is heartfelt

I just wanted to take a second and mention the website that my bro-in-law, Jimmie, made for his pictures of my sister and their (our) family:

I think it is well designed, even though Jimmie has no background in design (he has a PhD in Electrical Engineering)

It goes to show that if you care about something, and it is precious to you, and you spend time being thoughtful about it and observing other examples -- the result is Good Design.
